강원도 원주에서 태어났다. 2002년 『창작과 비평』으로 등단. 시집 『다음 생에 할 일들』 『불안할 때만 나는 살아 있다』가 있다.

Ahn Joo-cheol
Born in Wonju, Gangwon-do, he began his career in 2002 with the publication of poems in the journal Changjakgwa bipyeong. His published poetry collections are Things to be Done in the Next Life and I’m Only Alive When I’m Anxious.

Brother Anthony was born in England in 1942. He has been living in Korea since 1980, and taught English literature in Sogang University(Seoul), where he is now an Emeritus Professor. He is also a Chair-Professor at Dankook University. He took Korean citizenship in 1994 and received the Korean government’s Award of Merit, Jade Crown class, in October 2008. He has published over fifty volumes of English translations of Korean literature, mostly poetry.
